There will be a dispersal order in Warrington town centre during the Neighbourhood Weekender music festival. Police said this will start at 9:00 am on Saturday and last until 9:00 am on Monday.
Cheshire Police officers can tell people to leave a certain area. People must not come back for up to 48 hours.
The police want to keep visitors and local people safe during the festival. The event brings many music fans each year.
Insp Chris Webster said more officers will work to stop bad behaviour. He said, "We want everyone to have a good time, whether you come to the festival, live here, or run a local business."
Bands like James, The Wombats, Stereophonics, and The Lathums will play on Saturday and Sunday.
The festival will be back at Victoria Park this year after taking a break last year.
The police have new powers from the 2014 Anti-social Behaviour, Crime and Policing Act. It is a crime to not follow an officer’s order to leave the area.
If someone is told to leave, they will get a map showing the area covered by the order, police said.
